XLink: Proposed Recommendation

Recreate and extend HTML-like hyperlinks (A, IMG, LINK)
Support more than just browsing applications
Support more than just follow-me links
Support stand-off links, bi-directional links, many-to-many links,...
Defines set of global attributes in XLink namespace: type, href, role, arcrole, title, show, actuate, label, from, to
Link types: simple, extended, title, resource, locator, arc
Actuation: onLoad, onRequest, other, none
Show: new, replace, embed, other, none
